Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread success in the early 21st century. Swift discovered a love for music as a child and quickly progressed from playing in shows for children to making her debut in front of an audience. Swift in 2011, at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. Following that, she started writing songs of her own. Swift, who took her influences from the music of Shania Twain as well as The Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm of music from the country genre, created the songs of her own to convey the feeling of being alienated. Swift's parents relocated her to Tennessee at 13 after selling their Pennsylvania farm. The move enabled Swift to devote more time looking for labels to promote traditional music from Nashville.
